Sandvik DD421-60 is a two boom electro hydraulic jumbo for fast and accurate drilling in drifting and tunnelling of 8-60 m2 cross sections. The improved hydraulic control system with new features enables accurate drilling performance with efficient control.

The new RD525 rock drill has proven to be an efficient drill with smooth penetration and powerful drilling performance. Optimal coverage is achieved with the proven SB60 booms. The drilling performance can be improved with optional instrumentation.

The new Sandvik DS421 is designed especially for rock reinforcement in underground mines and tunnels with small and medium cross sections. With a working width of 3.9 meters and a working height from 3.2 to 8.4 meters, combined with a small turning radius, it is a perfect match for 4×4 drift size class. As a selfcontained unit with an onboard steel strand reel, a cement mixer and c cement bag platform, the DS421 can install cement grouted cable bolts up to 25 meters in depth. Featuring a powerful HL 510 drill, it is also a perfect backup for production drills.
